What is life? What is it that we work for, day in and day out? I will tell you, it is for products like this. I never knew the value of existence until I sat in this hammock with my persimmon and my whiskey. If you die before purchasing this hammock stand, I feel sorry for you.

Why I didn’t buy this stand last year?? I have no Idea! Set up was 1-2-3... less than 5 mins and I been relaxing since. I’m writing this review from the hammock. This stand is a super great value for the price. I weigh 200lbs and stand supports without effortlessly. People who complain about it rusting, well its metal. Get some rustoleum paint for $3 and cover it up and move on. Lifes too short to complain about petty things. You will enjoy this stand I guarantee it. I’m gonna take a nap now....
Easy to put together. I got the hammock for $7 from a local store thinking I could hang from a tree. This stand is definitely portable. You can assemble in just a few minutes. The carry case is pretty durable too. I plan to take down and store for the winter to prevent rust.
So far so good. Mine came with all the parts. No rust. The welds look shotty but it's welded nonetheless. I bought this to replace my couch. I have a hammock in the bedroom anchored to the wall via eye-bolts. A stand is better because i can move it around. I equiped it with a columbian style synthetic cotton. There is some flex when i get in the hammock. I weigh 225lbs. Nothing broke yet. I wouldnt recommend this as an outdoor hammock stand because it doesnt matter how much paint is used, rust will find a way. Even if the whole thing was coated inside and out with a zinc-coat primer than hit with a qaulity paint spray, the areas that the tubes join will eventually wear metal on metal and there is your rust starting...

My only question is there is a threaded hole on the bottom center tube for a knob... it literally does nothing. Im assuming its a spare.
My only major concern is the threaded holes. Eventually they will strip if taken apart too many times. Looks like maybe 1.5 threads worth on the thickness of the tubing. My plan if i have a failure is just drill a hole through both tubes and tun a 5/16 bolt through it with a nylon locking nut.
If i have a split tube, ill be taking it to work and welding a steel strip around it. That is my biggest fear with this stand. I do understand the tubing will bend some over time. My girlfriend will be joining me in the hammock.
Overall i am extremely satisfied. For the price, cant beat it. I think every home should have a hammock.
This went together surprisingly easy. It's very sturdy and well built. My only complaint is how heavy it is- it does come with the carrying case (which fits all the pieces, but it's TIGHT)- but even with the strap, it's not terribly comfortable to move around.
Overall, I would definitely recommend for anyone with a hammock looking for a stand, but be aware of the weight.

I was hesitant to buy this because I couldn't believe the price for the stand (it's the best deal I could find!) But it turns out it was not too good to be true- it is everything I wanted and works perfectly! It came delievered in perfect shape (no broken pieces, defects, etc.) and was so easy and quick to set up. We have a pretty big hammock (I think it's around 11' long) that was just sitting around in our basement for years because we didn't have a stand for it. I wasn't sure if this stand would be the right size (I thought it may be too small for our big hammock) but it fits great! My husband and I are both able to lay on it and it doesn't sag clear to the ground.
At first, we thought it wasn't going to hold our hammock. We thought the removable size adjusting hooks to attach the hammock to faced inwards, which made the hammock touch the ground without anyone even laying on it. But then we realized the hooks face out and the hammock gets attached on the outside and pulled tight through the top handle things on the stand. (see pictures for better example of what I mean!)
You can't beat the price of this hammock stand!
Easy assembly, well constructed. Only thing lacking is plugs for the holes on the stand that you aren't using which as we all know becomes a haven to bees. Not exactly what I call relaxing when the bees decide you are in their personal space and they want you out! Will be going to the hardware store to pick some up.
i was really skeptical because of a lot of the other reviews. but this was great. it feels heavy duty and was not damaged, the instructions were attached to the storage bag so they didn't blow away while I assembled nor will I lose them. I assembled I by myself altho I had help moving it around the yard while I mowed. my 9 ft cotton hammock was kinda short but it came with rope so I just made a loop and tied a square knot to hold it and used that to make up the difference. I think the hammock itself will stretch the more I hang in it and I won't need the rope. I will probably check the knobs every time I get in it but I feel totally safe and very very happy with my choice !
The frame is very easy to put together, and stores away fairly small to tote along for a camping trip or day excursion. The included hammock is decent quality, but I had to knot the ends numerous times to get it far enough off the ground... as is (without knots), the hammock almost touched the floor and my butt was on the ground once I got in it! I knotted both ends 2-3 times and now it works great.
I LOVE this hammock with stand, & use it almost daily. It was easy to assemble, only thing that could be improved is once it's assembled, where the pieces go together, there are small areas that are not Black powder coated. I just painted those areas to protect from weather elements. There are several heights you can place the hammock & the bright colors of the hammock are perfect.
