This chair installs into a stud if you have drywall. Which was fairly easy, this chair is comfortable and stretchy and it holds up to 200 lbs. I love this hammock it is perfect for bedrooms it adds style and is a nice relaxing seat. Also you have to purchase a part for hanging from home depot or wal-mart. Simple assembly and very fun. Bought this for my 16 year old daughter for her bedroom and I think that is correct target demographic. I was very happy with it and so was she. I have read several of the reviews and here is what I think:
- This thing is pretty darn inexpensive now so you really can not go wrong.
- I don't think this will have any problem holding a child/teen (<150 lbs). Yes, it is rated to like 200 lbs, but am I going to sit in it? No way.
- Fine for indoors and looks good, but would I put it outside? No way.
- Comes with no mounting hardware, but that really does not matter. You can buy appropriate hardware at Home Depot, Lowes, or anywhere else or just check your tool box. If you have to ask how to hang this thing, then you should probably not be ordering it.
It is what it is - a simple inexpensive chair that hangs from an inside ceiling for a younger person. If that is what you want, you will be satisified.
very cool chair. Put it on the kids swing set instead of the little swings that come with it. They love them! and its a great price.
I like it, it is sturdy, but I didn't give 5 stars because it is a bit uncomfortable if you sit in it too long. I've sat in others that were way more comfortable. The difference with this one, is that it doesn't have enough netting.
This is very comfortable. I have had this swing outside, and there doesn't seem to be much wear and tear from being exposed to the weather. I love sitting in my swing and reading.

Love my new hammock! (so do the grandkids!) It hangs under the high deck for shady reading on a summer day.
Beautiful and sits comfortable with any cushion or pillow.
Good size, kids love it for reading in. Some of the knots looked just a tad like they may slip but nothing that we couldn't fix ourselves.
My husband and kids love this chair, they even argue over who is going to sit in it, my husband always wins, lol It's beautiful, cozy, and our patio where it hangs overlooks the lake.
Love this hammock, bought it to hang in my daughters room while she reads or plays video games. This hammock was so inexpensive.
