Non paid honest review. I’m the recipient of this chair. My boyfriend bought it for me. At first I was worried about putting this chair together. I looked at the chair, looked at the instructions, then looked at the chair and everything clicked. It was very easy! Once I had the chair up I was nervous trying it out. So I gently eased down my weight and nothing broke. Gave a few small swings and everything was still good. About 5 mins into relaxing in my new swing my puppy decided to join. Turns out, she loves swinging. I have the blue chair, it’s just as pictured. I’ll certainly look into getting more.
My son has autism and was going outside in the middle of the night to swing. We put one of these in his room and he is in heaven! Every one who visits our house wants to sit and swing in it. I have since bought two more. They are very sturdy!
I love this chair! It is so comfortable. The material is very thick and heavyweight. Feels like Gortex fabric. They use polypropylene rope instead of cotton or other fabric rope so this rope does not stretch. The third reason I chose this brand is that the rope is not wrapped around the wood poles, it goes through holes drilled into the wood. This takes the stress off the wood and it is mainly the heavy duty polypropylene rope holding the weight of the person sitting in it. It comes with a length of chain and 2 hooks. This chair is fairly long and I just put the attached ring directly on the hook on my chair stand, not using the chain, and the height is perfect. Easy to get in and out. I highly recommend this chair.
I don't understand other reviews stating they had difficulty putting this chair together. It arrived at my house in a long narrow box ready to use. Nothing to put together.
For those who do not know what polypropylene line is, it is manmade and will not deteriorate in nature. My experience with it is in the commercial fishing industry. It floats. It will not burn, but it melts instead. It is braided and one of the strongest type of rope available.
The quality is great. The color is spot on with what we wanted. My wife is 5' 3" and she loves the comfort of the chair. She swings away in the back yard bird watching. I also enjoy it but it is more snug on me. I'm 6' and 240# and it feels like a hammock wrapping around me. I'm not complaining just letting you know that if you want more room around you than look for a wider seat surface. I used a figure 9 attachment to make easy adjustments to the height of the leg rest.
I’m writing this review from this hammock at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park on Naples, Florida. Combined with a hammock strap to throw over a tree branch, this works perfectly. The carrying case that it comes in was a little tight if you are lazy and don’t want to remove the three hooks between uses (to disconnect the main wood brace from the chair). However, the whole thing easily fits into the nylon case of any of those folding camp chairs every family has 3-4 of in a closet if you want to keep all the hooks connected and jut roll the whole thing up between uses. It’s not much bigger that way, but it makes a tight fit for the case that comes with it for lazy folks. Cup holder works, but you may find it to be akward. Foot rest works, but you may find yourself slowly turning circles in the breeze.

One of my favorite things I have found on Amazon! This chair is so comfortable I could nap in it. It was fairly easy to assemble. However the rope for the footrest needs to be longer. I hung mine from a tree and the rope for the footrest was too short. If you were using a stand where you didn’t need all of the rope for the chair I think it would be fine. But I had to buy an additional S hook and chain to allow for the footrest to be lower than the chair.
We have purchased several of them and they have been wonderful. We bought them for camp and at home. I screw the strings to the end on the sticks so they don’t come apart. Makes moving them and storing them hassle free. Can be adjusted to everyone’s desires. Tilted forward or back or lower or higher. Great quality at a decent price.
My mom in TX. loves these hammock chairs so every time they start looking bedraggled or lost color due to sun, I get her another one. My mother -in-love in Arkansas has one also, and she loves it in her house. Cheap and great quality!
It’s so comfortable!! Great quality and great price. They’re also very easy to install. However, I needed more chain length so I bought a couple more feet from Lowe’s. I also recommend ordering better mounting hardware because I wasn’t satisfied with the eye hook bolt that was included, although I think it would have been adequate, I sometimes over do the safety stuff.
I ordered two hammock chairs, then after trying them out I ordered two more!!
Ahhhhh. Super relaxing. So far good value for the money. Only had it a couple weeks but it’s every family members favorite outdoor spot. Probably ordering another one soon, I just need to figure how to make the eye bolt stay in the beam instead of unscrewing itself.
That’s not the hammock chair’s fault though, that’s ignorance on my part. Surely a google will help me once I get around to it. I highly recommend purchasing this chair, especially if you know how to put in an eyebolt.
