I have bought three of these now. The first was two years ago, and two more again this year. They hold up well, the paint on the older one is starting to get a but sun faded, but it is still strong and sturdy. We put these out on our deck and have really enjoyed the hammock chairs. These have an extra metal strap welded in where the tubes are welded together to strengthen the area where a number of the other stands seem to fail. No sign of failure on any of these.
I purchased a whicker/rattan egg shaped outdoor chair from another retailer but didn't have a way to hang it due to our porch ceiling being too high. This stand is the perfect fit! Took me all of 10 minutes to assemble. It's pretty heavy so no fear of it toppling over.
