I researched the Ravenna and Veranda covers, and after going back and forth quite a bit, I decided to spend a little more on the Ravenna cover. I am glad that I went with the Ravenna cover.
Pros:
- It looks stylish and high quality on our patio furniture.
- It's very thick and feels durable.
- Completely covers the table and chairs.
- Ties down to stay in place.
Cons:
- Since this is adjustable to fit many different shape tables and sizes, it doesn't fit snug. I measured and picked the size range that was supposed to fit my table. You are able to pull 2 drawstrings around the base to get it to fit better, but it just bunches around the bottom.
- Since it's not pulled tight and the chair backs are taller than the table, it dips down in the middle of the table top and water is able to accumulate there. To fix this, I stacked the seat cushions on top of the table under the cover, so that it would be higher in the middle of the table, and the water would drain off.
I understand that the fit will probably be a slight issue regardless of which cover I go with since they're made for range of sizes. Overall, I'm very happy with the look and quality of the cover.
Item appears to be well made. It doesn't sit on your furniture as pretty as the item photo though. They must have taken extra steps to get the chairback height to match the table height (or artificially filled in the gaps for photo purposes). That took the rating down 1 star.
I bough this on an Amazon deal and paid 59.99 for a size XL. Under this cover we were able to fit: 8 chairs, a long rectangular table, and 4 small round end tables on the floor, plus 2 more end table on top of the table. We put the 2 small end tables on top of the table so that there wouldn't be a pit (low spot) in the middle of the cover where water would collect (chair backs are normally higher than the table top!.) So in all, 1 table, 8 chairs, and 6 end tables underneath it!
Material is very thick and nice, and the color is a nice earth tone. Looks great on the deck. The elastic around the bottom and the 4 tie down straps (at each corner) will help this thing from blowing away.
We have a couple different covers for furniture on our patio, which is 100% exposed to the elements. We just completed construction of a hand-built farm table and bench, and we bought this to cover it. I am extremely pleased with this cover! It is waterproof, very sturdy, and it even looks nice to boot. I wish I had purchased this brand of covers for the rest of my patio furniture, as my other covers can't compare to this one. It might cost a little bit more, but trust me, it is worth it!
2017 UPDATE. This cover lasted a very long time through two blizzards and extremely hot summers and is still in great condition on the outside. Sadly, however, we had to stop using it because the plastic backing on the inside of it actually melted to the surface of the wooden table it was covering, causing the protective satin stain on the table to rip off when we removed the cover. Our table top now needs to be sanded and restained. I'm not sure there is anything the manufacturer could do about this, after all the reason it works so well is because of the thick plastic underneath (it seems, anyway). However, if you are using it to cover wooden furniture in continued exposed, hot sunlight (we live in central PA), you might want to take precautions to protect the wooden surface underneath.
This product is a great quality and value. The only call out I would make is the following....
1. If you are covering your patio table AND chairs water will pool if the chair back is taller than the table. I live in the northeast and it iced on top. Not a big deal, but annoying especially when you want to keep water at a minimum on your deck.
2. there is a band at the corner of each side to tighten. By doing this it exposes the bottom of the chairs which I dont love. Not sure there is a better way to do it, but I didnt want my furniture exposed.
Taking note from other reviews, I threw an old sheet over the cushions to make sure there's no chance of the underside of the tarp staining the patio set. With that said, the quality is really nice! I have a couch, 2 rocking chairs, a coffee table and 3 regular chairs under an xl sized tarp. I have a 60" table and 2 chairs under the other tarp (118"). It's a bit too big but I may rearrange the set to put more chairs with the round table.

well made table/chair cover. strong fabric with ties at the four corners perfect for my 6 foot rectangle table with 4 legs. It also has a couple draw string to cinch it in on the bottom. It's never blown off. I've been using it now for about 4 months and it's rained a ton. My only complaint is that the middle on top sags and water puddles right there and there is a seam right in the middle so water does get in right there only when it puddles. I put a flower pot on top of the table in the center under the cover that keeps the middle propped up and for the most part this has solved the problem. I don't think there is anyway to avoid that. Sometimes with a hard rain a little puddle will happen at the ends even with the flower pot propping up the middle but there is no seam on the ends where this happens so water does not come in and I can dump out the water after it rains. If you did not have chairs under the cover along with the table, this would not happen but this will happen if you have the chairs covered also. But it's the best cover I have found and my table/6 chair set is aluminum and wood and I do want to keep it protected from sun and rain.
My wife and I had been looking for a cover for a few months now. My wife had her eyes set on a Potery Barn cover that was over $300. We found this one and we could not be happier. The material is excellent quality and is water repellent so when it rains, the water just rolls down. You cannot go wrong ordering this cover. It has straps on each corner to secure it to the legs of your furniture (you know, for those very windy days). It also has some elastic strings to tighten up the bottom (1 on each short side). We got it just in time before it rained, so we put it to use immediately. It's keeping our very expensive patio furniture dry and ready to use, even after a rainy day.
Recently purchased this cover and I'm impressed with the quality of the material. It's a bit large for my table (goes all the way to the deck), but I'm actually okay with this because it covers the chair legs completely (thereby keeping them away from the weather). Like others, it does dip in the middle, but that would be the case with any cover, because the chair backs are higher than the table. My plan is to stack some cushions or other non-plastic materials (to avoid melting in 90+ degree heat) in the center of the table to tent the cover and allow rain to slough off the entire affair.
The only drawback is that the cover was cut and fashioned to fit a square/rectangular table, not an oval one with chairs, so the corners of the cover dip. In this end, this might not be a big deal because that just leaves me more covered storage space for other outdoor equipment that won't fit in my garage (e.g. folding chairs for additional guests).
This is a heavy-duty cover, which is easy to put on. It repels water easily and keeps our table and chairs clean. We have a 7ft table with eight chairs and it fits perfectly - only a couple chairs have a little of the bottom leg exposed, since we don't push our chairs all the way in. The cover is so good, you won't want to keep anything that melts (candles) under the cover, especially if your table is in the sun. While the cover is cool, the heat does get trapped underneath. I would purchase this cover again and consider this brand for other outdoor products.
We purchase a home in the Arizona desert that has a nice, large covered deck. The sun does shine on our new patio dining set that has padded fabric and a nice finished steel chairs and dining table. The solution??!! A cover for the dining set that will last. When we looked at the Classic Accessories Ravenna Rectangular/Oval Patio Table & Chair Set Cover on Amazon. It looked great and the price was good too! When it arrived we used it the first day and every day since. We uncover the set when we have guests or just want to relax ourselves. This cover set is a homerun! Even nicer that the photos showed. 100% recommendation!!!!
