CHECK THE WIDTH OF THE MOUNTING BRACKET.
The hardware is good quality....very heavy duty.
The one issue I had was with the mounting bracket. Considering how much weight this needs to hold, you need to screw it directly into a 2X4.(assuming you are hanging this indoors, as I was, in my kid's bedroom)
A 2X4 is only 1.5 inches wide...the holes in the bracket are slightly wider than that. So I was faced with one of the screws being on the edge of the 2X4, that made me uncomfortable. Maybe it would have been fine, but my teenager sitting in this is 110 lbs so I was concerned.
I ended up going into the attic and nailing another a short 2X4 into the existing one to effectively widen the screwing surface to 3 inches.
This did the trick, but definitely some extra work.
After ordering a hammock chair I realized I din't have any mounting hardware. I was initially going to use a single fish eye hook, but this kit made life much simpler. I could only hit wood on the two center line screws, but the hammock is meant for my daughter, so this is fine. Having the spring provides additional flex along with the hammock itself. I did have to hit Home Depot to buy some additional chain link (about 18") and an extra caribeener to clamp it all together. This kit could be even better if it included 24" of chain to allow for varying heights, but I understand it might price the parts too high to be competitive. All the parts are very sturdy and provide sufficient confidence that the hammock chair will have a great life in my daughter's bedroom.
Used this kit to hang my new hammock chair. Very simple to install and love the fact of having all the pieces needed already grouped in one purchase, hate spending time in the hardware isle searching for individual parts that don’t always work out.
I bought these to hang a few hammock chairs. The spring, swivel, and base are very sturdy. However, I dropped a star on the rating because the included screws will not support the weight of a grown adult. I strongly suggest using 1/4" x 1 1/2" lag bolts. They will hold the weight of an adult with no problems.
This is a solid, heavy bunch of hardware! I'm not in my new home yet, but I will tell you that the service this company provides is out of this world! I received an email from them, told them my situation, that I'm not in yet but will be hanging this in a pergola, and got a nice response telling me what to look for in the wood when I hang it and that I should reach out to them if I have any questions. This is a small company, and they really want to treat the customer right. I'm sure the product will equal in quality their customer service!

When we had a pergola built in our backyard, I bought this to hang my hammock chair. Then we picked up some similar hardware at a big box store to hang some more chairs. While the others already look weathered, this one still looks new. It's also nice that everything you need (except screws) is in one package. I had to mix and match and figure it out at the hardware store.
I used this hardware to for a hanging chair in the house. Great value for all the pieces. If you were to try and piece together at the hardware store it would be much more expensive (trust me I tried). I installed it by myself in just a few minutes (into a stud!) It has held fast and not once given me cause for worry that it may come loose.
Quality appears to be great. Price was great. Kiddo is at a church event so I’ll have her try it out when she gets home.
Hefty weight to the items.
I didn’t need the wall bracket as it’s for a hammock chair and an indoor stand. Needed the hook and spring so the chair could swivel.
This is a very sturdy, easy to install hammock chair hanging kit. It has everything you need except the drill. The screws are super sturdy and long and make for a very stable hanger. Hammock chair swings freely and spins without getting twisted. I'm thrilled with the result and very pleased with this purchase. I definitely recommend it.
Bracket is rock solid and mounted easily. Make sure your pilot holes for your screws are big enough. Hubby stripped out first screw head because of this. After redrilling holes the screws went in easy and solid. This swivel hook works flawlessly and is a must if you are mounting a hammock chair. I can spin around like a kid! Highly recommend!
