Grabbed this little gem to hang a hammock chair my daughter found at a garage sale this past weekend. Easy to put up and works well. The spring is very strong and the rest of the hardware is well built. I picked this anchor over otheres for the following reasons.
1. It has 4 mounting holes, which provides extra security.
2. The plate is in a diamond shape which is perfect for all 4 screws being able to go into the rafter.
3. Strong spring. Most places recommend that you use a spring with your hammock chair. Not having a spring can cause damage.
4. It came with the clip that allows it to spin 360 degrees
Only took a few minute to install. Use your stud finder, drill pilot holes and put in your screws and voila! I am buying another one to hang another chair.
Exactly what we were looking for to hang a swing off the back porch! The only thing we had to do was add a chain to the hook because it was too high for our swing!
This is a heavy duty clasp and spring, works great!
These work perfectly I would give it 5 stars if all the components matched in color and I ended up using a more beefy set of screws
