So I’m a worry wart and actually bought these as a secondary backup Incase the bolts screwed into my deck come lose (I didn’t use I bolts). We hung a wicker double swing rated for about 550 lbs under the deck (which is second floor in the back). The hanging mechanisms themselves are amazingly strong but then I start to wonder well what if the bolts come out or the board breaks under the pressure. So I found these straps. They are great because they go over the board we are ancored to and another board. I am using both to secure the swing. These are flexible enough to move with the swing and strong enough so that I can have comfort in my swing. I am sure if I bought these first I would have been fine with just these but that’s not how it ended up. The back is very woody and sloped off of the deck - great view and I’m sure as a kid I would have willingly launched myself off of this swing - but not in at an age where it’s enough fun to just swing and I’m not in the mood to be launched anywhere. Also the carabeaners that we’re orovided screw closed so that’s added security for this worrier. The length is not adjustable but that wasn’t a problem for me. You should expect to use your chains for adjusting.

We have the Step 2 Infant Swing and hooked it up to our pergola, it worked but the swing didn’t operate smoothly with the carabiners provided, they really need to suspend from another strap/rope for a more fluid swinging motion. These straps worked perfectly! The straps themselves aren’t very sophisticated.. I thought I could find something similar at Home Depot for 1/2 the price, but no luck. We wrapped the straps around our support beams (2x8s) 3 times to get the right the length (the length is completely customizable - just note the max).
Works great. I have not tested the full weight, but one of these holds 250 lbs. I wrapped it around a pair of 2x8s and hung a swing off it.
I will be long in my daughter’s eyes because of her swing. It only took 4 minutes to get this up around a thisck tree branch. You’ll have to make some expected adjustments depending on what type of swing you buy. But this was easy and durable. It’s besn about 9 months since I bought it. It has hold up in the elements and I’ve had absolutely no problems.

Worked out great to hang my web swing from my oak tree. I looped one strap around the limb and attached the other to extent it low enough for the swing. So far it seems strong and sturdy and the kids love it. I use it too!
Easy to assemble. Good quality materials. Can be used a number of different ways. We are concerned about metal pieces rusting.
Delivery was fast. They are very well made. Good strong material. Haven't used them yet because I bought them for my son to put up a swing for our great grandkids but we might keep them and use them for our hammock. Might have to get another set.
I love these! I got sick of waiting for my husband to hang the swings so I bought this and did it myself in less than 5 minutes.
Does exactly what is supposed to do. I was surprised at how well it gripped the branch even at an angle.
