This worked great for hanging my hammock in my sun porch. I feel very secure and I weight 180lbs. I would caution that you must know that these need to be put in some sort of load bearing area of the wall. I have mine up above a window and a doorway, where I know there is a double header. All in all, very please with the ease of installation and security it provides.
The hardware shown is good quality, zinc plated and sturdy enough to support the weight limit as described. I purchased these hooks to hang a hammock on my patio, knowing that it would be an installation into solid wood. Using slightly smaller pre-drilled holes, the screws provided were certainly adequate and installed easily. Other installs into masonry/concrete might require different screws (tapcons) to insure a snug, permanent attachment.
Used this to hang some heavy lighting to a stud in my ceiling. works perfect. came with screws - super thick and solid. would definitely order again.
Used to hang our hammock on some posts on our back deck. Has held up well so far. However, one of the screw heads broke off when attaching, which makes me nervous that the others aren't strong.
Yes - it’s great !

Description
While you can use the double hook set as a hanging kit for hammocks, it’s been designed for so much more. You can install this hook hardware set on a ceiling, Veranda, gazebo, or any structure that can sustain a weight of 450lb. All of the zinc-coated hardware, which will resist corrosion, has poly-resin anchors; this makes this set ideal for outdoor use. Securely fasten the hook using the 1 ½” wood screws that are included into a support beam. Please consult an engineer if you are unclear about the load bearing potential of a post or beam.
Great hooks for hammock, this made more easier the instalation, hooks looks very strong..
We used these to hang two hammock chairs inside of our house. They worked perfectly! Our hammocks have been hanging now for about a month with no problems. Installation was easy.
These hooks do the job quite well. The instructions leave a lot to be desired (like what size drill bit to use for the screw/anchors), but I managed to install it just fine regardless. I ended up using the plastic anchors for the screws, and a 3/8" bit seemed to be the right size. I just load tested it with me, my wife, and my toddler (a total of 365 lb) and it held together just fine. Time will tell how well this holds up over time.
Still hanging after two years
The best part about this item is that the bolts are both Phillips and 1/8mm nut do it made install much easier. My terrible screwdriver skills did not affect the install. I'm so happy!
