I am super pleased with this purchase! It is so sturdy and heavy...and looks phenomenal! My dad and I were able to put it together in a few hours without much effort, except for lifting heavy items or moving the whole thing (he's 89 and I'm 65!)... Not bad for a father-daughter project!
After reading all the reviews, I purchased this item. Wonderful item. Reviews stated that the rain puddles at the "butt" section,, and it does, but was able to alleviate that by pulling the cushion when it rains. NOTE: the cushion seems to have some sort of water resistance, but it you leave it out in the rain too long, it defeats the purpose. Hanging over the fence to dry out also works well. Also took the extra steps via reviews to rustoleum the parts before putting it together. Taking all this into consideration - great product! Thanks to all the other reviews to make this a great choice!
I love this lounger! When I received the package containing the lounger in the mail I was at first very over-whelmed with the size of the box. It was a whopping 79 lbs! I should not have worried. Upon opening the package I was relieved to find that all the parts were securely wrapped and very well made. Assembly took me about 2 hours but the product has everything you need with easy to understand instructions. Best of all is relaxing in this oasis on my patio! The lounger has a gentle rocking/bouncing motion that makes for the best naps. The fabric is tough and the built in cushion and head rest are very comfortable. The attached umbrella is great and adjustable so I can re-position it depending on the position of the sun. This product is extremely well made and is enjoyed by the whole family!
I am very pleased. Looks beautiful on my patio! Super comfy and I love the gentle swaying motion. The perfect place to relax with a good book on a sunny day!
It took two of us to put it together but it was a fun project! It took maybe the total of an hour. It's very nice! I sprayed mine with Rustoleum that i had left from spraying my outdoor firepit as other reviewed suggested because mine came with plenty of scratches in the paint and the ends were obviously not coated. Plus the end caps are not tight, so i figured it's best to catch it now because you never know with Houston weather. So it was the black colored spray but it doesn't mess up the look at all as you can see. I am 200+ lbs and it doesn't feel like it will break at all. I don't leave the padding on it at all when I'm not in it. It is comfy and is the perfect height for a 2-2.5'table to sit next to you with your drink or books on!
Add'l: the water does pool on the seated portion of the swing when it rains. This is another reason I'm glad i read the reviews because the cushion would be sitting in puddled water if so. Whenever I want to sit in it and relax, I tilt it and put the water off and attach the cushion, which I'd not complicated at all. The shade doesn't do much for it so I always have my 9' umbrella & stand nearby.

Assembly required (with instructions)
It is comfortable and was not hard to assemble. The instructions are poorly written and skip a few steps and be very careful, the metal tubes scratch very easily while assembling. My biggest piece of advice is to put the screws in with the nuts facing outwards and that'll save you about 20 minutes re-doing them.
Product arrived securely packaged, fairly easy to assemble in a short time, and really enjoy using it. All that said, I would've given it 5 stars EXCEPT it should have two wheels on two of the extensions, otherwise you will get a sore back when you try to move it around your yard, VERY DIFFICULT TO MOVE!
This is the most amazing swing ever. SO comfortable!!! It swings every which way. I am a 60+ year old woman and put it together myself. I wish it came big enough for two. I would definitely buy another.
This bad mamma jamma has been the highlight of my entire summer, which is really saying something because this summer has been amazing! It was simple enough for me (a young tiny female) to put together by myself- although, it would have been much simpler with a partner. The frame is nice and heavy, but the legs are a bit tricky to even out. Once it is put together, its a little nerve wrecking getting into it the first time, but with practice, it gets easier and you'll be gently swinging with the breeze in no time. Personally, I find it to be more comfortable without the cushion, only because the cushion is not AT ALL breathable and you will sweat like a menopausal woman in a heat flash. It is just as comfortable (if not maybe a bit more comfortable) without the cushion.I wish I would have painted the frame with a clear sealant paint, but it's too late for that now, and I've already accumulated a bit of rust. For the price, I really can't complain about anything. I would definitely buy again, and recommend it to everyone that's willing to listen.
I love this chair already. It was easy to build once you realize it's easier to assemble the hammock frame part in reverse. The weaving takes some time but just be patient and do it right. I'm 6'2", 180lbs, and I fit just fine in this. I used the uncut remainder of the weaving rope to make a few fancy Army knots over the head rest part to secure the hammock frame to the other frame to keep it swaying more than I want to.
