I have truly mixed feelings about this chair. When its new, I absolutely love sitting in it. I should confess that we have 2 of these hanging in our back yard and every 6 months to a year we are replacing one or the other. sometimes we find out the hard way that one needs replacing. There is a strap that holds the bottom of the "arm" pole to the seat. It just doesn't stand up to our weather. I know I should probably cover this or take it down sometimes, but our weather is pretty good year round. We have tried to resew the strap, but the whole strap disintegrates. This time, I have decided that I am going to use one of the ropes we have from one of the other dozen ones we have had and make this chair better, stronger and faster than before.
This is a very high quality chair. We've had similar chairs before, but this one has some very nice features. It has a grommet drain hole in the bottome of the chair, so that rain water can drain out. It also has a hanging cup holder and arm rest which are useful. The foot rest works nicely.
This hanging chair is even better than the one it replaces which cost twice as much four years ago. The grommeted drain hole in the seat is a big plus as is the pillow. One thing that I did on both chairs was drill a hole in the end of each wooden pole, melt a hole in the webbing straps with a hot nail, and then use stainless steel screws and washer to secure the poles; local high winds "disassembled" our chair a few times before I secured everything with the screws.
The swing is holding up & nice To relax on. The least is hope straps dont break.
I used this chair at a friends and LOVED IT so I purchased one right there and then. It's high quality and comfy. Disappointed because mine didn't come with directions so it is making set up a bit difficult, actually non existent at the moment.

Very nice chair. Made well. Directions aren't the best but after a few minutes figured it out.
