Hammaka Hammock Net Chair, Rope Chair

Hammaka Hammock Net Chair, Rope Chair

Hammaka Hammock Net Chair, Rope Chair

I'm a single mom and hung two inside by myself. I did have to pick up some rope, a ceiling hook, and a swivel latch from local hardware store, no more than $10.

I love it! I did a lot of research and review reading, comparing and hmmm-ing before I purchased. The hammock is a lovely natural color, the wooden bar is sturdy and looks good, as in the picture. It's a seat but I'm 5"7 and I can fully extend my legs in it, and recline gently. I can also sit in it as a seat too, which is great. My dog loves nosing it and sending me spinning, so a good hook into a beam and a chain from a local hardware store ensure I'm not going to fall off! The kids lay fully in it and take a cushion and throw for a nap. I meditate and read comfortably in it. I'm super critical, like really I'll spot a flaw anywhere to the point my husband rolls his eyes and ignores me. This I love!

I looked around for quite awhile to find a good and nice looking swing for my living room that was also a good price. I LOVE this swing! We've had it up for 3 months now and it's holding up well. The kids fight over it everyday, it's a very popular place. I can't get my little girl (who needs to be constantly moving) to share she loves it so much. Great buy!

So far we love this hammock! So easy to hang, and perfect right out of the box! My daughter is 5'8", and her 7 year old brother love sitting and reading together! Plenty of room! And has a classy look to it. We tried a pillow cushion in the bottom- but you don't even need one for it to be comfy! I would buy this again for sure!

It's a nice looking hammock chair and super comfy to curl up in, but it came out of the package reeking of mildew. Really hoping the smell will fade over time.

Edit 12/27/17: I'm happy to say the smell did fade after a few weeks. Whenever we hang out on the porch this is everyone's favorite place to sit. It's attractive, comfortable to curl up or stretch out, and has held up well after ~6 months. Must-have inclusion for any covered porch!

Whether you want to sit up or lay way back, the amazing design of the Hammaka net chair will conform to your needs. The 100% cotton net will cradle your whole body allowing you to snuggle for hours and the Indonesian hardwood spreader bar will with stand the rigors of use for many years to come.

I've had this hammock for 3 weeks and am in love. It gets more comfortable the more I sit in it. Plenty of room to sit regular, Indian style, or with your legs stretched out ( I'm 5'8). It keeps you in a comfortable upright position too for reading or playing on a tablet. I love the open netting because of the breathability in the hot summer. If your on the fence take the plunge and give this one a shot!

Great chair! A little weird to get into for the first few times but easy once you get the hang of it. Seems to be very sturdy and strong (as long as you don't overboard it). I am 160 lbs and it holds me with no problems. The netting is awesome because you can sit many different ways- upright, cross-legged, legs out in front of you, etc. My only complaint is that it smells kind of like old burlap when you first open it, but it doesn't reek of it and I'm sure a little febreeze or time will get rid of it.
In all, I would definitely recommend this chair! Great for relaxing and reading!

Love this chair! It's so comfortable. I can sit in it crossed-legged and write on my laptop or read very comfortably. I can also sit in it with my legs stretched out all the way in front of me and lean back. It's in my home office and my husband always wants to sit in it when he comes into my office to talk to me but I'm always already in it. I'm fighting the urge to order about six more and put them all over the house - just kidding but I'm really happy with this chair. I'm not sure how long the string?cloth? whatever will last but it was pretty inexpensive. If I'd paid about $20 more and still got what I got, I'd still be happy with it.

Got my hammock chair yesterday and my husband put it up for me. Since then, I haven't left it. Got a great nap in it and am loving my special reading corner in my bedroom. Feels like a comfortable cocoon. Took us 20 mins to hang and it's mounted through the ceiling into a stud. It's not going anywhere. Feels completely sturdy and it's perfect for curling up or stretching your legs out. I have back trouble and this feels great to lounge in. I wish I had one outside, in my office , and more for the whole family.

This Hammock is very nice, but seems a little flimsy. This replaced a Hammock from Lowes.
The ropes that make up the Hammock are about 1/8" thick, old Hammock ropes were almost 3/8".
The Hammock is very comfortable to sit in, but the Hammock ends will sometimes slide inward the wooden rod.
The kids are using it fine; I am reluctant to sit in it since my weight is close to 200lbs.
