We saw the reviews online and decided to buy 3 for some landscaping we were doing in the yard. We could not be happier. The chairs are super comfortable and the tan color is great. Very Natural. I would definitely ensure that you are starting with a hanging height of between 7.5 and 8'. We had some trial and error in building the structure and finally nailed it. I prefer once sitting to be 16"-18" above the ground. Need to keep in mind that there is give in the hammock so it will sag additional once a body is seated.This is a great addition to the yardscape and the kids absolutely love it.

This is the absolute, best outdoor "furniture" I have. It is a high back and very easy to sit into. You can actually pull it all the way to your feet so it acts like a footrest just like described. Super soft and comfortable. Very very sturdy frame. The brown is really pretty and goes well with my pergola and gives a super tropical feel in my small, no-view backyard. it actually feels like I am sitting in a beach!Plus it arrived super quick - 3 days without prime 2-day shipping. This Hammock chair is very nice quality and fairly priced. It is made of soft-to-the-touch narrow cording, nicely designed and quite sturdy. The cross rod is solid wood and has a clear finish. All connections are reinforced or wrapped/bound. It is advertised as all-weather and able to stay outdoors; I am a little skeptical of leaving it out all year with our harsh winters and weather in general; I plan to take it in for the winter, but it has held up fine hanging outdoors in the rain and sun for about a month now, and the quality/softness is still tip-top.
Some things to note before purchasing: 1) Hammock comes fully assembled but you will need a sturdy anchor point and the appropriate hanging hardware. 2) You will need a hanging point that is at least 7ft above the ground. I've hung mine at about 7-7.5ft and it is low enough for your legs to touch the ground while sitting in it, but quite low in general; perfect for us, but you may want to hang it higher. 3) The posture of the hammock is 'sitting' like in a lounge chair, fairly upright. My girlfriend likes to lay in it essentially upside down (feet where your head would normally go) to get a fully-extended laying-down posture.

I am a hammock person. I camp with a hammock and sleep in a hammock above my bed. So when I needed a living room recliner, a hammock chair it had to be. After reading many reviews and looking for a hammock type chair that I could stretch out in I decided on the large Caribbean hammock chair - 48 inch. Very happy with this purchase. This chair needs a tall stand so I am using a Sunnydaze Adjustable Hammock Chair Stand for Hammock Chairs and Swings. It is at it's highest setting of 93 inches and works great. At 6 foot tall and about 190 pounds this chair is perfect for my wants.
I've had this for a couple of weeks and I LOVE it. I went round and round on which one to get, and once I picked the Caribbean Hammock brand, I couldn't decide between this 48 inch one, and the 40 inch one here: Caribbean Hammock Chair with Footrest - 40 inch - Soft-spun Polyester - (Rainbow).
Anyway, I use it on my back patio with the Sunnydaze hammock chair frame: Sunnydaze Adjustable Heavy-Duty Hammock Chair Stand for Hammock Chairs/Swings, Adjusts up to 93 Inches Tall, 330 Pound Capacity.
I read so many reviews on everything, and it was really confusing, with some saying opposite things from others!
Here was my experience:
--The 48 inch hammock chair was a good choice--it really allows me to stretch out length-wise. I think the 40 inch would have been too "chairlike" and confining.
--The hammock chair seems very well-made and sturdy, and the colors (I got the rainbow) are beautiful and vibrant--the whole neighborhood is jealous!
--There have been many posts about if it's too tall/not tall enough, etc. I set the Sunnydaze frame to its maximum height, 93 inches, and hooked the chair directly to it via only the spring hook that came with the frame. It was perfect height, maybe even a tiny bit too tall. I'm 180 pounds, and my butt was probably 2 feet off the ground. I then hooked the chair to the frame via the spring hook, AND the chain (also included in the frame), and my butt was now about 1 foot off the ground. I actually found I preferred that, since I could let my feet touch the ground easier, and reach a drink I set down, too. It's very easy to adjust either way.
I look forward to using this every day when I come home from work!
I love this hammock! I am about to order another one. I hung it in a large tree that grows next to my pond. It is comfortable and easy to hang. The material is very soft.
I love my hammock! But be careful to hang it from a very high place, you'll hit your bum on the pole if you use a hammock chair hanger like the one shown! My little boy loves to snuggle with me in my hammock chair and it fits both of us very comfortably. Easy to get into and out of as well.

I searched the internet, eBay and Amazon. I chose this one because of the multiple colors it can be purchased in and others reviews on the hammock chair.
We have regular lying down hammocks. But, wanted to try out a hammock chair and with this Caribbean Hammock Chair, one is able too do either, in comfort.

Bought the brown hammock chair November 17, 2015, as a Christmas present for my wife. Bought the purple one about five months later April 18, 2016 and the green one five days later, on April 23, 2016.
Though all three were purchased at various times. I was fortunate enough to pay the same price each time $59.90. They had been at $89.00 before I bought my first one in November of 2015
I still have the room and some choice branches on our back yard tree.
