Classic Accessories Ravenna Patio Sofa Loveseat Cover, Small

Classic Accessories Ravenna Patio Sofa Loveseat Cover, Small

I purchased two of the chair covers and one of the loveseat covers in February 2015. I keep them on the patio furniture all the time and remove them only when the furniture is in use (pretty rare). I live in Atlanta, which has harsh summers but relatively mild winters. The covers look good, feel well-constructed, and they definitely do a good job keeping the cushions protected from the rain and sunlight. I can't comment on snow protection because it rarely snows here. Because my patio furniture is located on a back deck with very little shade, they are battered with almost constant direct sunlight. After about 18 months of use, the covers faded pretty dramatically and became brittle. Last time I removed one of the chair covers, it finally ripped. Once the rip starts, there is no stopping it - it's like paper. Within a week or two the second chair cover and the loveseat cover also developed large tears when removing them. I submitted a warranty claim which was really easy - I completed an online form and attached photographs of the damaged chair/loveseat covers and my Amazon receipt and within a couple of weeks I had new ones shipped to my front door at no cost. I would have given these chair covers 3 stars for product quality (18 months isn't very long, despite the harsh conditions), but I upgraded it to 4 stars for the ease of the warranty claim process. With three of these things developing large tears within a few weeks of one another after only 18 months of use, it seems these things have an 18-month lifespan if subjected to constant direct sunlight.

I am extremely impressed by the quality of this item. I got it to cover a wicker loveseat from pier one and the cover fit perfectly. The loops at the bottom to cinch around each leg holds it firmly for windy days and the fabric is definitely waterproof. We had a thunderstorm and serious downpour and the cushions under this cover were bone dry. The vents built into the cover seemed odd at first but they work well to allow air to escape. The handles allow you to adjust the cover easily and remove it quickly when needed.

The fabric is thick and pliable similar to a higher end sunbrella type cover. It folds up nicely and stows in our deck box when not in use. No sign of mildew or sun fading yet and it has been sitting out in the Texas sunshine for weeks. I am not too thrilled with the color; it is more of an ashy brown than a deep chocolate but it definitely blends in nicely with the garden. I definitely prefer it to the hunter green or army green!

I'll be buying a second one for the matching loveseat!

Update April 2014 : The cover survived a pretty harsh winter very well indeed. We had a couple of ice storms and plenty of rain and I had some pillows and a bench cushion under the cover. Everything survived well. The buckles and clips still look brand new and nothing has become brittle or worn due to weather exposure. The fabric has not faded even though it got a good 5 hours of direct sun every day. A good investment.

Update 2015: Have since purchased a second one of these to match the first. Both are equally well made so quality of the item has not declined. Both covers were in use for the deluge and floods we had in May and everything looks great.

This cover works perfectly for me. Material seems to be high quality and kept my cushions dry through a couple rain storms now. I bought the one cover for the loveseat. I stack my other cushions from two single chairs on the loveseat (a total of eight cushions for the loveseat and two chairs) and the cover easily fits over all the cushions. Buying just the one cover was done purely as a cost savings. I may consider separate covers for the chairs in the future. l use this cover as rain protection in the summer months. Happy with purchase.

At first I did not want to expose my carved teak bench to the elements and so it remained in the garage. Recently needed space in garage and so how to relocate the teak bench to the deck and still keep it protected? A cover of course so I researched covers on the internet and this one stood out. the cover is of heavy duty material, well made and has thoughtful touches such as grab straps and cinch strap around the bottom. It is performing its duty very well including in windy conditions where other covers have not. Thank you Ravenna for a great solution to my problem.

High quality, thick fabric in a great dark color. I'm very impressed with the thick, adjustable straps that loop around each leg and the adjustable cord at the around the bottom of the cover. This looks like it will stay on the furniture in a storm and be sturdy enough for winter storage. The cover is also slightly larger than the description, which gives it a better fit that won't stress the seams.
Update:We have used these covers for two years now with great results ! No tears or discoloration. Our outdoor furniture looks amazing in the spring after a hard winter under the covers. I would highly recommend !

I bought two of the bench style covers to cover 2 of our Hampton Bay deep seat rocker/swivel chairs. It works great! Has been out in the sun for 2 months now with little to no fading. Keep in mind, it’s not waterproof, rather water repellent. That said, our furniture has been completely dry after heavy downpours or storms. I use the bench style cover to cover two chairs and pull the chairs apart form each other so that there is about a 3 inch gap and the covers fit perfectly with no water pooling on top. Have had several high wind storms (live in subdivision where the wind flows through the back yards like a tunnel) and the covers stay perfectly in place. Since I take our furniture in the basement to store for the winter, I expect these covers (used in spring and summer only) to last a very long time, but when they do go, I will purchase again.

Great quality. Sturdy. I've had this covering a love seat outside through a fall, winter, and spring. I find no signs that it is breaking down. The cheaper cover I had previously was full of holes after a season.

I only order Ravenna and I get the best prices on Amazon. I continue to buy these because they are super sturdy and hold up to the weather for a couple of years or more. I have them on many patio pieces of furniture and replace them when they wear out....they do wear out but much slower than all other covers I've tried over the years. They also look good...neutral, sophisticated color. They look quality and make your patio still look good even when your furniture is covered. And they keep everything underneath clean and in great condition.

We purchased these last year to make sure our patio furniture would survive the cold, snowy winter. We purchased this one and the Ravena table cover. They covered the furniture from late summer through fall and winter, and through spring and they look like we just bought them. In contrast, a Weber grill cover we purchased at the same time, which stayed on the grill through the same time period, fell apart--sun scorched, tearing plastic, etc.

We get some pretty hard winds at our place but these tied to the table and chair legs very well so while the wind tried really hard to blow them off, the covers were having none of it. It's probably a good reason why the whole table set didn't blow around in the heavy wind.

Because it held up so well we're purchasing two more covers--including one for the grill--for the rest of our furniture. We're very impressed as it was a harsh winter and spring, the sun was brutal on the south side of our home during both the summer and winter, and did I mention the wind?

These covers are very nice. Heavy and durable, but easy to put on with their well thought out handle placement. I have both colors. The grey looking covers are more taupe in real life - just and FYI, and the tan/beige ones are a much softer, nicer looking color than their shown pics. They are not as yellow as the pics make them look. The only reason these don't get a 5 star is because there were no instructions on how to secure the bottom straps. I wasn't sure what to do with all the buckles at the bottom, there were no instructions whatsoever. I think I eventually figured it out, but instructions are always helpful.
