I received a similar chair hammock three years ago as a birthday present. It had begun to show enough wear on the canvas that I was anticipating being dropped on the ground at any time. I purchased this chair to replace it and have been pleased with the quality and price. I was told it was significantly cheaper than my original gift and I believe it is better made. I have hung it from a heavy chain that is wrapped around a horizontal branch on a large tree. It is a cool and comfortable place to sit and relax, read a book, or simply enjoy the day. The only thing I can find negative to say about it is that the cup holder I find totally useless. No matter which bar I hang it from it is not at a convenient height and while it holds a standard can of beer (or whatever you drink) it does not hold most cups or a can with an insulated cover on it.

Well worth the money spent. Good price, not much difference than the $80 ones. My son and daughter now have one each and they love them!
Comfortable. Need to hang close to ground for easy in/out. Issue: dowel pockets in straps slip out while hanging etc. Used tape to keep in plac and no issues.
Awesome chair! Easy to put together, so comfortable that its a perfect nap time chair.
Highly recommend for patios or porches.
