The best purchase I have ever made. Love it. Supports my boyfriend & I, (aproximately 300lbs), easily.
I bought this for my son with Autism to help with his sensory issues. I love that it's not as large as most hammocks. I was going to originally put this outside, but my son refuses to take it out the living room. The sides come up and cover him completely which is great for helping him decompress from his sensory overload and WAY cheaper than buying a therapy hammock or swing! I was very impressed with the material of the hammock. I was expecting it to be rough material, but it's very soft and comfortable. It came with no instructions, and it was difficult to get the pipes to fit properly the first time. I had to oil everything down to get them to fit, but after the first set up and take down, it's much easier to get going.
Getting another for my wife. Easy to put together and take down. Little tight first time. But stretches with weight. Put on top eyelet first, then as it stretches adjust to height.
I feel that this hammock is decent for the price, has a sturdy frame, and could be best described as mid-range quality. I sadly can not comment on the level of comfort of the hammock as I ran into a problem with receiving a hammock that was defective. One of the holes that a screw goes in was to large, was welded incorrectly. I contacted Giantex and they were excellent during the entire process. They did not make me jump through hoops to get the issue resolved. I know I can order from Giantex and if there is a hiccup they will fix it. Things like this can occur any time when ordering online, it is a risk we take but it is the responsibility of the seller we order from to fix it. Giantex did and has made me a happy customer.

Definitely can hold up to 280lbs (my whale butt)
Kids loved it when we took it camping (no trees available)
I feel asleep in it... Even though it was kinda cool, no blanket,in the shade. Conclusion: very comfy.

Cons:
Kinda heavy. Not something you want to haul to a hike in campsite.
The hammock stretches... Probably cotton shrunk.
"Space saving" is subjective term. For strength and stability, need the wider longer footprint..
Paint chips during assembly, fear it may rust at the joining parts (need sand it down)
Bottomline: Totally worth it for glamping if treeless site close by or have a cart.

Awesome, strong, and perfect size for the living room! The only bad thing is that once my husband sits on it, there is nothing that will make him move out of it!!!
The hammock is very durable, the stand is pretty good too for the money. One person maximum but for how good the price is you can afford to get two of them :)
