I bought these to replace the springs on a garden swing/frame. Although the size was a perfect match. The bend of these hooks is not identical top and bottom, so the swing didn't attach easily or hang correctly. Not a flaw in the product, but important to know if you are in the same boat...looking to replace a lost spring.
These are doing what I wanted them for and nothing more. I used them for three hammock chairs and one full size hammock. Can't complain.
This makes the hammock a bit more comfortable.
