I love my chair . It is so comfortable and looks great on my balcony .
My wicker egg chair was shipped & delivered with the 4-part support stand and arm bars, and the 2-part wicker egg chair components only, but NO assembly kit was included (bolts, washers, drawbar spring, clevis suspension pin, etc.). After contacting the seller they informed me that they could not order these parts independently from whatever was packed in the initial chair container box. So, I decided to put together the missing kit myself at my local hardware store.
Here are the basic parts (specific to this egg chair) you will need if you do not want to go through the hassle of returning this monstrosity once it shows up on your doorstep (n.b. you will need 2 adjustable wrenches and perhaps a rubber mallet to knock some of the more hard-to-thread bolts into place to complete the job):
Ground Stand & Curved Suspension Arm Bar #1 Connection:
(4) 3/8 x 1" Hex Bolts
(4) 3/8" Nuts
(4) 1/2" Lock or Standard Washers
Curved Suspension Arm Bars #1 & #2 Joint Connection:
(2) 3/8 x 2 1/2" Hex Bolts
(2) 3/8" Nuts
(2) Locking or Standard Washers
Egg Chair "Basket" Hanger Connection:
(1) 1/2 x 6" Eye Bolt (Weight Capacity for over 300lbs+)
(1) 1/2" Hex Flange Nylon Insert Thread Bolt ("Self-Locking")
(2) 1/2" Standard Washers (For Top & Bottom of Eye Bolt Insert & Exit Hole Areas)
(1) "Heavy Duty" Drawbar Spring (Weight Capacity for over 300lbs+)
Egg Chair Wicker Seat "Basket" Connection Points:
(4) 5/16 x 2 1/2" Handle Knob Bolts (Rounded Head "Door Knob Bolts")
(4) 5/16" Nuts
(4) 5/16" Locking Washers
(4) 5/16" Cap Nuts (To Prevent Any Snagging While Seated In Chair)
Once I had the parts I did the assembly myself but two people are recommended for an easier experience.
Hope this helps anyone who finds themselves in the same predicament I did. Assembly can be done easily enough after a trip to the hardware store and, quite frankly, you may end up with a better constructed chair as a result depending on the quality of the parts you select for the kit.
I read through multiple reviews, on a variety of this style chair, from different sellers. This chair is wonderful!!! It's sturdy, comfortable & I know that I am going to love hanging out in this all summer! This one fell right in the middle for price, overall quality, shape, size, etc. One concern would be the weight limit, while I couldn't find anything specific on the website, reading through multiple reviews it looks to be about 200lbs max. Make sure this is a single use chair, no snuggling in here :)
This chair is amazing! Comfy, swings great, easy to put together and fits any decor! It took my dad maybe an hour to assemble when it arrived. It matches the already existing outdoor resin wicker like furniture I have on my porch. Fits one adult very well or 2 kids. Cushion is comfortable and dries pretty quickly after it rains! Almost bought one of there for double the price and then found this one. For low $300 range it is well worth it! Great chair to relax and read.
This took 20 minute to assemble for two people once it was unwrapped. Very sturdy and comfy. Love it for reading or just relaxing while watching a show. Perfect for one adult or two small kids.

What was initially intended as an enhancement to my garden space, turned into furniture for my teenage daughter's bedroom. It is very sturdy, was easy to assemble, and is an attractive piece of furniture. I was skeptic because of the few negative reviews, but I’m glad that I followed my instincts. I loved this hanging egg chair. It gave the bohemian look that I was looking for my treehouse. I was able to assemble the chair all by myself even though the instructions said 2 people. Great chair with a fair price.
I chose this chair over other options specifically for the “C” shape of the base. I was looking for an opening on the front so I wouldn’t be stepping on, or tripping over any part of the frame. All of the pieces were lightweight and assembly was manageable by myself. My husband had stepped out before it was delivered, and I was able to get it put together before he returned (about 30 minutes). Construction is sturdy, welds are strong, and the cushion is very comfortable. I currently have the chair indoors in a reading nook, but we’ll be moving overseas soon and it might end up on a balcony. If this is the case, I’ll keep the cushion inside when not in use; the resin basket and metal frame should be fine outdoors, semi-protected from the elements. I recommend this chair!
I am absolutely in love with this chair!! I was going to use it outside, but I love it so much it has now become my favorite TV chair. Rocks and swings and I have trouble leaving it to go to bed at night! So worth the money. It's like comfort food for the whole body. Thanks.
