Gorgeous sturdy fabric and hardwood pole. Colors not true to photo, but I love them: The grey is actually a dark olive green. The yellow fringe is more of a dark gold, which works even better for me as I have a lot of wood trim in my house. It was really hard to get the hammock hoops on, but when I pushed the post into the hoop using the floor and my body weight, and then it went right on (see photo). Photo shows hook at 73.5 inches from floor to bottom of hook for perfect hanging height for me at 5ft 6in. The last photo might be a nice height for a toddler. I will buy a stronger hook, but this worked for 160 pounds! There was a slight fraying of one of the many support strings. I will just trim it as it is only on one of many support strings; but overall, I love it and plan to buy another one!
My daughter (8) could spend hours every day sitting in this hammock reading. Absolutely loves it. Only recommendation is do not buy the hook recommended by Amazon as the "additional purchase", it is too small and doesn't fit the hammock.
We bought this for our special needs grandson as a place for him to go when he needed to calm down, or to just unwind. He loves it and in fact loves to share it when his cousins or friends come over since the swing is so roomy. There is nothing more wonderful than hearing children giggling happily together. The swing is well made and the colors are rich and vibrant. I don't know if they might fade when washing it since we haven't had to do that yet; but even if all the colors mixed together and the swing ends up looking like Picasso puked on it....we would still use it and still keep it in our living room.
After previously ordering one of these chairs I liked it so much I tried two from a different company. They paled in comparison! They were unfinished wood, and overall, cheaply constructed. This chair was by far superior, so I ordered another one. These chairs are VERY comfortable and well made. Recommend to everyone.
I hung this swing on my front porch, i love it and have not had a problem with it at all. The only thing is that to properly hang it up, i needed to get a chain, a S hook that could support the weight, and a special spring that could also support the weight. I found all this stuff at Lowes, I'm sure Home Depot would have it too.. My worry was about mildew or mold on the fabric from being in the elements, but its been fine so far. I'd definitely suggest it!

Literally, we hung it in the bed room. Now wveryone congrigates in our room, lol. Its comfy, easy to put together, easy to hang. I went to home depot and bout 2 feet of chain and a set of 150 lb swing hangers (300lbs) it fits perfect withe the theme in the bedroom, laid back bohemian green and brown colors. It smelled weird at first, but nothing major. Its crazy comfy, everyone falls asleep in it, if youre looking for a great hammock, this is it my friend.
These hammocks are amazing. They are comfortable and durable. The colors are beautiful and true to what they look like online. Easy to hang however they don’t tell you that you need a spring to correctly hang it, it is not included. Sometimes the ropes slide a bit on the wooden bar too and can cause you to fall to the ground. Easy fix with a nail or something
This hammock chair is my new favorite thing! Bought it in the beginning of the season and it's so nice to just sit and swing and relax on the back porch. The material it's made from is soft, and it feels more comfortable than a rope hammock. It isn't as big as a regular hammock (of course) but I'm around 5'4" and I can fit in it so only my feet hang off the front with my head resting on the back, or I have room to curl up in it, so it's pretty roomy. I have it in a screened-in porch and it's great for a space that's too small for a regular hammock. It didn't come with the hardware needed to hang it, so just make sure you use something that's able to handle some weight- mine is on a heavy duty carabiner and that works fine.
I wanted a hammock chair for my son's room, this chair turned out to be better than expected. The Denim matches his room that has navy and red bedding. I had originally intended to remove the netting/fringe, but my son said he liked it because it gave it a nautical look. This chair is very comfortable. Everyone loves sitting in it. My son will sit in it for hours reading. I will say that when my husband gets in it, he does not love it because his shoulders are wider and he says it feels like a straight jacket. The hardware does not come with the hammock. We purchased heavy duty hardware from the local hardware store. An 8-10 inch eye bolt, large carabiner and a heavy duty snap-hook with swivel. Husband engineered a crossbeam in the attic between the 2 trusses and secured the hook with lock washer/nut. Make sure that any hardware you buy is rated at least to the weight rating of the chair. We have 8 foot ceilings and the hardware I mentioned brings the chair down to the perfect height, we would not have room to add a rope or chain.
I Love this chair! It's so comfortable and pretty. I like how I can take the hammock seat part off quickly and easily if a storm pops up.
