My little piece of heaven! I weigh over 200 pounds and was afraid this swing wouldn't hold my weight. WRONG! And the comfort was amazing! I'm so happy I have a place to relax and mellow out in our back yard in this comfortable swinging chair. Spending countless hours in it just unwinding and enjoying the fresh air outdoors. And I bought several tree straps so I could move the swing to different locations all over the yard. It's that easy to move around. Just unhook, take chair to another hanging strap, and rehook. Connected my Velcro cup holder and I'm ready to swing and sip my tea. Well worth the buy.
This was EXACTLY what I was looking for! It has exceeded my expectations! I'm 5'6" and weigh 174. The seat is deep enough that it comes to my knees when seated. The back is high enough that I can lean my head back and it's supported a little (if i slump a bit.) I ordered this along with the spring and a super massive swivel hook because I wanted to spin!. I wish it had come in more subdued colors - blue would have been awesome! But I really really LOVE this chair! It's so relaxing. I feel like a kid again - swinging and spinning!
I love this. I actually attached it to the center of my kids swing set. They can use the outer swings and I sit in the middle swing with a baby and rock. It is so comfortable. I can't wait till there are are no kids here and I can just kick back and take a nap in the sun. It's not recommended for kids but I let them use it with my supervision. I have it on 2 swivel hooks so I can turn it any way I need to look to check up on my little ones.I just unhook it and put it in my sunroom when I'm done so the weather doesn't wear it out. I have a swivel hook at the top with a chain and a swivel hook at the bottom. I actually bought two and was going to return one but I like it so much I'm keeping it. My husband is going to build us a separate swing set to hang the two of them on. We adults need a little fun to. We don't really swing, swing on it. But as adults we just kind of rock in it with our feet on the ground and relax.But I intend to curl up in it (I'm only 5' tall) and take a nap one day. LOL

One commenter said this seat does not hug your bumm. That is right. Now, it doesn't work like a regular flat rigid chair, but it is much much better than those nylon mesh seats that engulf your body like a creature from a '50's sci-fi movie. I made it even more comfortable by loosening the top cords at both corners of the seat so it let my big head go back further. This is a comfy hammock chair. EZ to get in and out and as noted - comfy. In case it helps - 6' and 190. My wife is a wee little girl, and she says very comfy, too.

Great chair! I was replacing a hanging chair that I had owned for several years. Many reviewers were commenting on the small size of hanging chairs and that this was a good size. I ordered this this one and it is quite a bit bigger than I would need a chair to be and I am not tiny. If you are concerned that other chairs might not be large enough, this is the chair is roomy. I love hanging in the shade on a hot summer day.
This is a very comfy cushioned hanging chair. It is exactly as pictured in a red striped knobby cotton fabric. We spray with outdoor water repellant spray and take it in when there is a hard rain. Our kids love it for reading outside under the treehouse. It is study too and we weight tested it for $250 lbs.
Bought a pair of these; at first I wasn't sure how I'd like them as the back seemed to flop forward at first; but after a few nice sitting sessions it formed the shape of a chair like you'd expect. Very comfortable and my neighbors are envious of our obvious luxury lifestyle LOL!
Love this! We put it on our outside swing set to give the teens and tweens in the family a swing option. Thankfully we bought 2 rope chairs because they are the go to swing for everyone now. Perfect for the grown ups, too! They've been up for about a month and the colors are faded a bit from the sun but otherwise the rope chairs are in great shape.
These were a gift to my parents for their lake house. They love them. These are sturdy, comfortable, and install with easy. They come put together so there is no assembly hassle. Highly recommend!
