I had no idea something like this existed, until I wanted to have something unique for my balcony. Basically, you can hang this chair anywhere that is sturdy enough to hold your weight on it. For my balcony, I drilled into the ceiling a big metal hook, and it had no problem supporting my weight on the chair. It can handle up to 265 pounds, so it should be fine for most people. Just make sure you hang it at the right height so you can get into and off of it easily. The quality is really good, and it looks beautiful. Add a long pillow to the back, long enough to fill most of the circumference of the chair, such as a flat body pillow, and it will become like a cocoon that is very cozy, inviting, and positive. Try it!
I ordered the macramé chair for a replacement of an older hammock chair I owned. I currently own two of these style hammocks: One to place inside and one to keep on the porch.
The quality of the knitted cotton was impressive; especially, the overall design of the hammock. The weight limit is 265 pounds. I am approximately 230 pounds, and I had no second thoughts about sitting in the hammock chair.
I was surprised to how comfortable it sits. It feels stiff when you touch it, but it sits well.
To set up the hammock chair, you will need to purchase a stand or an Eye-hook and a S-hook. At my local hardware shop, the hooks cost a couple of dollars. The hammock does NOT come with them. Although, where you put the S-hook, there is a metal ring attached to the chair. You can set it up two different ways: One using one set of hooks or using two sets, giving it more of a swinging effect. I use mine by keeping both metal rings together, using one S-hook and Eye-hook
Love this swing! It is sturdy and seems pretty well made. A fairly new purchase but I can’t get enough of it! My only complaint is that after sitting in it for a week, the knots securing the material to the pvc tighten and cause small gaps, exposing the pvc hoop. Not that big of a deal.
Great quality and just what I hoped it would be!
Perfect for my 14yr old daughters room. She loves it.

My kids love this swing chair that I hung in basement family room. Better than expected.
Looks so cute in my child’s room.
Love these chairs! They are very comfortable and well-made and there is no "sinking" feeling when sitting in them. We use a 300 lb. capacity carabiner to hang them. We replaced our porch swing with these chairs and have one inside on an 89" round base C stand. If you think you might want to get one don't hesitate, they are beautiful and fun!
