They are small, but they do the job! I installed these on the joists of my garage without any issues. I didn't use these for a hammock but gymnastic rings instead for my calisthenic workouts. The straps for my rings were a bit too wide for the carabiners, so I looped them directly on the ring, I'll probably get bigger carabiners in the near future so it's easier to remove them. Once installed, I hung on one ring and didn't feel any sag, if you are doing static or slow movements then these are awesome. Whether you have a hammock or gymnastic rings, I probably wouldn't recommend jumping, but that's just my opinion, I haven't tried that nor do I plan to.
My only gripe is that the clearance between the ring and the mounting holes. When you're about 1-2cm from fully driving the bolt in, the ring gets in the way of your socket (used 1/4" drive 10mm socket). If the mounting points were just 1/2cm further apart, you would have enough space to comfortably drive the bolt in.
Here is how I installed mine:
You do need to drill some pilot holes, I used a 5/32 drill bit. Measured the bolt diameter (without threads) to be about 4mm, so the 5/32 is just about right. The distance between mounting holes is 2cm, but I just taped the anchor to the 2x4 and drilled from there, if you have hardwood, I would HIGHLY recommend having an impact driver, I used my DeWalt DCF887 which worked like a charm on Mode 2 (Mode 3 is probably too strong).
I bought this for my new Yoga Swing and, to be honest, I was terrified that the whole thing would collapse on me while I was hanging upside down in it. It doesn't help that I am on the heavier side of things either. Not to mention, this was so easy to install it was almost too easy! I have been using the swing for a few weeks now and this mount has not budged in the slightest. I am more than confident in the support it gives me and no longer worry about being dropped on my head. If I ever have the need for another one, I will buy this again for sure.
I wanted to put up a hammock in my sunroom, and everyone at first recommended putting swing hangers in the ceiling. They were all pretty expensive, really big, most of them were really ugly, and would have required a bit of modification to the ceiling to get them to bolt in. I wasn't enthused with the options until I found these.
These hammock hangers are perfect. They're small, and they have a HUGE capacity despite their size -- only a little over an inch in diameter each. It makes them perfect for mounting on a wall or in a ceiling without drawing attention to the hardware. Installation can be a bit tricky because of the small size of the brackets. I recommend starting the bolts with a 6-point socket, then backing the socket off when there's about 1/4" left of the bolt to go, and finish tightening with a crescent wrench.If you use the socket the entire way down it will likely get stuck and require a lot of wiggling and tapping to get the socket back off of the bolt.

I love this this Hammock Hook setup. I live in a tin can here in Afglamistan and it gets pretty boring sleeping on a cot and not having a couch to lound around on. Enter in my ENO hammock. I brought it with me in my bag, but I had no way of hooking it up inside of this square metal box I live in.
Amerigo's kit worked great, I pre-drilled my holes in the can with smaller screws ( since we don't have drill bits), and then I was able to screw in the rest of the way. I live in the middle of the desert and don't have a lot of tools available to me, so I wasn't able to use the provided bolts as we had no method of tightening them down. I was lucky enough to have almost the exact same bolts with a philips head pattern, so that enabled me to get the job done. So far I've had the hammock hung for 3 days and tried to sleep in it each night. I've spent from 4 to 6 hours in the hammock using this hardware and it hasn't flexed, nor have I felt like it was going to fall off the wall. Sleep in peace with confidence with this hardware kit, I do.
These are really sturdy hooks. They have a small profile so they aren't super obvious on the ceiling (if you ignore the hammock hanging from them). I was a little nervous at first, suspending myself in the air on the hope I had managed to get a good grip on the ceiling beam. But I've been messing around in the yoga swing on and off for a week now and they are holding strong.
It is a little tight getting the bolts screwed all the way in with the ring being so close. If you have your socket on the bolt, don't take it off to re-grip, you won't get it back on.
It is nice having the stationary ring, the secondary ring, and then the carabiner. That allows for a fair amount of movement.

Got this kit because it was advertised with an aerial yoga swing i bought. The hooks are way too small to get around the material of the swing i had to run or and but some bigger ones but i used the rest of the kit and installed the swing in a door way. I tested it with my weight before i allowed my children in it. I'm a pretty big girl, 5'7" 170lbs and it held up great! The hooks could be bigger (i did not have the swing when i ordered these so i had no idea how big i needed them but this kit was advertised as "buy it together" so i did.), other than that fantastic purchase!
So far, these hooks seem to be very well made and sturdy. I love the compact size and attractive syle for indoor use. I am going to be hanging two sets of these in my house so I can move my hammock from the living room to the bedroom. Once I use them for a little bit, I will update. This company has been really great. Apparently, they are a small family business. They have been very attentive and friendly in all correspondences, and I would definitely buy from them again. Very good quality overall and I'm satisfied with my purchase. The only real bummer was the the bolts were too short for my needs. I rent, and my back patio has thick wooden panels over the actual base structure, so when I stated putting everything together I noticed that the bolts would only go through the panel, not into the base structure fully. Because of this I had to go buy longer ones, but I feel that was my own shortsightedness. As I said earlier, I really do like these and they are made of good metal.
This product has worked amazing for me. I own a yoga trapeze system at home that needs to be hoisted from the ceiling. And let me say i am not on the lighter end of the weighting scale lol, But these Hooks and fasteners are the best I have found so far. And at such a great price. The clearance between the head of the bolt, the hoop that holds the ring, and the ring itself is a bit tight to get even a narrow-walled socket onto the bolt. It'll go, but it takes some force and attention. Once installed, these things are trustworthy. We hang and swing and pull and jump pretty hard on our ceiling-mounted hammock. I am the heaviest user at 165 lbs.
