First, I should note that I purchased this through Serenity Health and Home and was NOT able to choose a color. I was confused by the other reviews as some of them stated that they were able to choose colors; this was because they purchased the hammock through Hammockboutique. Unfortunately, I ordered before I realized this but fortunately, I really love the random selection they sent me. Just note that the item reviews under each Amazon item are all for different 3rd party sellers through Amazon. I found that out the hard way. :)
Now onto the item review: The quality is excellent and the cotton/nylon is very soft. The wood bar is thick and sturdy and I did the installation myself; easy as pie. I just bought a tree strap with an S hook at the end and wrapped it around a wood beam above my deck. The hammock comes with a metal circle at the top so I just hooked the two together and hopped in!
I'm 5' 5" and 150 lbs and was able to stretch out my legs comfortably. In my opinion, I don't know how well this would hold up for anyone over 200 lbs. so that's something to consider.
very appreciative that the company lets you send a message about the colors you prefer and they do their best to find one that meets your criteria (cool vs. warm colors) and they even emailed me photos of a few to choose from! now THAT was nice.

Really comfortable Hammock. It's very colorful and well made and brightened up our front porch.

The product is amazingly sturdy and ever so beautiful. Just note that you should hang them a tad bit high, as the strings will relax after a short while! I use mine almost every single day!
