It's AWESOME!! Just what I wanted. I bought a tree swing strap and hung it on a branch of my Ash Tree and connected this hammock chair to it. OMG it's so comfortable and I can lay with my legs stretched out...or bundle up and feel completely weightless and sleep in it. It's high quality and very luxurious!
Knowing the height was helpful. Had to add a chain to lower the chair to desired height. Very comfortable.

I bought the coffee/tan/brown color and it looks awesome on my front porch It's comfortable and I especially like the fact that being webbed, it allows my whole body to enjoy any breezes that come along. It's like a fan for your backside! Hanging, it almost looks like artwork due to the rich colors, the materials used, and the pattern used to create the chair. Another plus with this chair is that it dries quickly. The other hammock chair is padded and when it gets wet, it's out of commission for awhile.
I love this! When I first opened it, I was a little disappointed. It seemed a little fragile and I was unsure of how it would hold up outside. I hung it on my covered front porch and it is still like new after a couple of months. I would recommend bringing it in if it is completely exposed to the elements. It is worth the little bit of effort.

First let me say that this has been one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. I love this entire product and have found no downsides. I purchased a different swing chair about a year ago and did not meet my expectations, but this product exceeded them! Here are some of my favorite things about this chair:
1. It extends out very far. I am 5' 7" and can completely extend my legs out with extra space.
2. With that being said, although there is much material (which is great) it folds amazingly! When not in use, the chair takes up almost no space which you can see in the pictures. This is great because I have the chair in a smaller room.
3. The color is true to the picture which is always a plus side in my book!
4. When first looking at the product, I was a little skeptical about the size of the bar because it was fairly long. However, it is not a problem in my room and don't even notice it! The only thing is if I accidentally hit the wall it does scrape.
5. Extremely comfortable to lay down in or sit. Perfect for reading books or even napping
I bought my daughter one a year ago for under her favorite tree. I kept stealing it and putting it on the porch, so we just bought our second. The weaving is strong and soft. The chair is so comfy and a favorite place to curl up and read with a furbaby on my lap. One year out, the first chair is still in perfect condition, too.
We have had 2 of these on our back porch for most of a year; they have stood up to almost constant use by "adults" and occasional use by hyper-active children (aka "adults" who don't weigh as much) with no problems at all.
We installed these into a beam under the roof of our covered porch with the included hardware and weight-bearing carbiners and eye-screws from Lowe's to ensure they wouldn't come loose. They have also been enhanced with hand-made macrame drink holders hung from one end of the support bar.
Love this. You can use as a chair or extend the netting to support your feet as well. It does have a nice high back, but the high back means you cannot lie down in it like a true hammock. The wood bar is thick and secure and the rope good, thick, cotton.
I went to the hardware store and purchased appropriate weight-bearing hardware, including a swivel mechanism so that my boys can spin around as they lounge.
A fun addition to our beachy living room, and I appreciate that it is a calming neutral color.
