I used these springs to replace the hanging hardware for my suspended chaise loungers. BINGO. They are perfect with just the right amount bounce and swing. Love them. I weigh over 200 lbs and they suspended beautifully. Included pics.
They include this spring as the item to buy along with most of the hammocks for sale on Amazon. It is expensive compared to some of the other springs you can probably pick up at Lowe's or Home Depot, but it is worth it. The spring itself is sturdy, strong, and certainly capable of holding up the weight of an adult male. I do recommend picking up an S hook as well because the hook on the spring does not really fit around the hammock loops. The hook is small and will start wearing at the ropes if you don't get an S hook to act as the middle piece between the spring and the hammock rope.

Well made product but I regret buying it. I bought it to go with a hammock chair that was going to be used as a tree swing. I thought the spring would help with the movement. It did not and I ended up just taking it off. But I can see if it were being attached to a wall that you would want this.
This was unknown to me until I bought new Hammaka Hammock Chairs for my deck. It makes your swinging, lounging experience every smoother and more relaxing if that's possible.

It seems to be a good spring but I bought it to go with a trailer hitch chair mount for my truck. The mount is not tall enough for me to be able to use the spring without the chail being too low. That is not the fault of the spring, I should have done a bit more research before making the purchase.
Does a great job of making my chair swing "springy" and making the chair even more pleasant.
