Love this hammock! We actually use our hammocks to sleep in and just started this Journey. My hammock is really comfortable and roomy at 5 feet 11 inches. The fabric is a little rougher then the organic cotton ones but I bet if I used this camping due to the waterproof of the material it would hold up just fine. When I want to read I actually prop pillows and lay across the middle. I have pillows and blankets and sleep in this no different then a bed. If you are looking for a hammock for any reason the la siesta brand delivers excellence.
This is a nice hammock. I know it's "weatherproof" but because we get uber-windy days here I take it in once the weather starts getting bad. My previous hammock, which this is replacing, was a "string-type" hammock.... this is more like sailcloth and I was worried that I would be too hot be in it in the summer. That didn't seem to be the case, or at least it wasn't the case this past summer (2016). So far I'm very happy with the hammock and the price point.

I ended up destroying the hammock that my aunt got my mom from Colombia, and this is an awesome replacement. I'm tempted to say the material seems a teeny bit different, but it's definitely bigger and can hold more people than the one before. It's a bit wider and its pretty much the same hammock.
I got it the same day!! Also the colors on this hammock are so bright and happy! Get it!
Holy Mackerel. This is the sh*&. I'd bought a 10 dollar hammock that was made in China, what a piece of crap and they falsely claimed it to be wider than it actually was (more than half of what I got). Oh well, long story short, decided to stop being a cheap ass and invest a little more. I don't think there is anything larger than this out there on the market. My partner and I fit in more than comfortably...I'm sure we could a threesome there easily.
Good stuff and it smells real nice too. Like a barn full of wood chips.

love the fabric, and the colors. I thought my stand and this hammock was both "standard", not the case...It's really too long for my stand. Thought about sending it back, but didn't. For now, I have it rigged up so it works ok, but am somewhat disappointed.
