These are monster hangers! I have a metal swing that weighs a good deal and can seat two people, who could also add good amounts of weight. I wanted something that would stand the stress and these hangers are fine. We put them on the side of a 2 x 6 stringer on the ceiling of my lower deck rather than on the bottom of the board. We thought the heavy duty screws we used might have split the board from the bottom, but the side position is very sturdy. I was concerned the moving parts would be impeded in the side position, but the swing still swings as much as it should on a deck. If we had had a different board to mount it from, we would have had the hook holders pointing down for maximum swing, but maybe this is better in view of the rough and tumble children who will be swinging on the deck.
I guess I didn’t really know what I was ordering with these because I was shocked when they arrived. They are very heavy-duty and weigh quite a bit. I believe they are some kind of coated iron. We used these to hang my porch swing, and I honestly believe a pair of elephants could sit there and these would not give. I feel very safe using these and have no fear of the swing coming down no matter who is sitting on it. Great value for the money!
Way heavy duty! Used for very lightweight porch swing with two lightweight people, maybe 320 lbs. total, attached to aluminum roof beam in a screened porch. Overkill deluxe for this mounting, but it is surely secure.
Heavy Duty like I was hoping for. Bolted to the joists using 4"x1/2" Lag bolts. the swing is also silent.
Very heavy duty, and worked great to support our new swing.

Boy, these suckers sure are sturdy. Pretty heavy. We predrilled holes in our porch beam, then screwed these in using some heavy duty bolts. It's nice to swing without fear of these ever coming loose!
Used these for our porch swing under our deck. Guy told me to use eye hook lag bolts. No way that would hold up to my son and his friends. Used these with comfort springs, works great.
Very satisfied so far. Very quiet an smooth. Purchased along with a set of porch swing springs. The combination was a very nice upgrade to my swing. They have some sort of plastic bushing in them that makes them so quiet. I guess we'll see how long that lasts.

We recently used these to hand a swing on our back porch. They worked great. Purchased some 3 inch screws to attach to the beams. Swing moves easily and is quiet.
