Upside: decent quality & comfortable. Stand sturdy and minimal foot print with holes in base for fastening to deck etc.
Note: Description indicates 400# capacity. This for the stand. Chair indicates 250#
Downside: Description indicates Oak dowels, I might argue that as grain and weight would seem to indicate other species.
Manufacturer claims 250# cap.for chair. I'm about 230 and won't try it (it was for my wife. much lighter). If it were to break by location of hanger to base, it could be a bad situation. Would suggest upon initial use to cover tubular base with cushion for test run. Also nylon dowel pockets are fairly shallow and could easily slip off so check each time before use. It will probably void the warranty but I am going to poke a small hole through the center of pockets with a heated ice pick and fasten same with a small screw & washer. Finally at best, the instruction sheet is laughable,but can be assembled with a little imagination.
Oh and the price has gone up twice since I originally considered purchasing.
